Christmas comes to life in their brand new 2009 Holiday Show experience

Kissimmee, FL—Arabian Nights, the World’s Most Honored Dinner Show, is launching the 2009 edition of its fantastic “Arabian Nights Holiday Show.” This year’s show is expected to be the most memorable edition yet, with old favorites and new additions to please the entire family in the largest equestrian arena for a permanent show.

The new Arabian Nights Holiday Show kicks off on the evening of November 24, 2009 at 6:00 PM and during this special Holiday Show, guests will join Princess Scheherazade as her husband, Prince Khalid, is called away shortly before the celebration of Christmas. From this point on, the always-faithful genie Hocus Pocus invites a new friend, Santa Claus, to come distract Scheherazade with gifts and good cheer until the return of her beloved Khalid.

This year’s Arabian Nights Holiday Show features amazing new music and stunning choreography for the duration of the show—which runs 1 hour and 20 minutes in length. Performers will also showcase a brand new wardrobe of costumes, and the show will feature special effects and many other surprises that are sure to .

Guests will be delighted as Hocus Pocus and Santa Claus bring Toy Soldiers, Gingerbread Men, Acrobatic Elves and Sugarplum Fairies to life, right before their eyes. The spectacular Jack Frost aerial act will also return this year, featuring a talented acrobat suspended from the ceiling on silk cords, making it a highlight of the Arabian Nights Holiday Show.

“Our holiday show is unique for several reasons,” explains Hanna Miller, Executive VP of Entertainment for Arabian Nights. “It combines a wide variety of Christmas music with gorgeous and daring horse acts and a rhyming script that puts everyone in a festive holiday mood.”

In addition to the fabulous Holiday Show, Arabian Nights guests will also enjoy a special treat during their meal this year—with the Chef’s Choice of Dessert: Candy Cane Ice Cream. This delicious Holiday Show dessert will be served after guests enjoy a salad, a choice from 5 entrées and unlimited soda, house wine and Busch beer.

Hocus Pocus brings each of Santa’s gifts to life in the magical Palace of Horses located at the intersection of U.S. 192 and I-4, minutes from the Walt Disney World Resort. In this dazzling show, the 60 Arabian Nights horses and 40 talented performers are joined by spectacular pyrotechnics, snow, and special sets; including four incredible 25-foot Christmas trees.

“Arabian Nights truly becomes a Winter Wonderland for this Holiday Show,” says Owner Mark Miller. “Guests can also join Princess Scheherazade, Prince Khalid and Hocus Pocus on New Year’s Eve, where they can enjoy the dazzling Holiday Show and stay to ring in the New Year as part of a special New Year’s Eve package available through the Group Sales department.”

The Arabian Nights Holiday Show offers nightly performances from November 24, 2009 through January 3, 2010.
